HARRISBURG – Roadway improvement projects are underway on parts of Routes 896 and 272 and should be completed in the next several months.
Resurfacing, guiderail improvements and other roadway improvements are already in progress along the portion of Route 896 between Valley Road in Bart Township and Octoraro Creek in Colerain Township. Milling and paving operations have already been completed on Route 272 from Brown Road to Octoraro Creek, and soil and topsoil work is underway now.
Motorists could experience delays on these two roadways. PennDOT is advising drivers to allow for extra travel time or plan an alternate route.
