DMVA Asks for Help in Honoring Military Members Killed in Vietnam War

The state Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) is asking for the public’s help in paying tribute to the men and women from Pennsylvania who died as a result of the Vietnam War.

DMVA is partnering with the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund in Washington, D.C. to find a photo of every Pennsylvanian whose name appears on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. Although photos have been submitted for more than 3,000 Pennsylvanians who paid the ultimate sacrifice, there are still 105 photos missing.

A complete list of Pennsylvania Vietnam veterans whose photos are still needed is available at www.veterans.pa.gov by clicking on Wall of Faces. Instructions on how to submit a photo are available at http://www.vvmf.org/how-to-submit.
