Sproul Road Bridge Reopens

HARRISBURG – The Sproul Road Bridge in Colerain Township reopened to traffic on June 16, two weeks ahead of schedule.

The bridge was closed for approximately two months for construction. The project, which has a 100-year lifespan, was originally estimated to take 75 days, but was completed 15 days early.

The construction project is part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. More information on the program is available at www.parapidbridges.com.
