Media Advisory – American Childhood Cancer Organization Plans Advocacy Hour on March 29

HARRISBURG – The American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO) will host a bipartisan online Advocacy Hour on March 29 beginning at 10 a.m. to highlight the benefits of funding pediatric cancer research and the importance of Pennsylvania leading the way with funding pediatric cancer research. 

Senator Scott Martin (R-13) plans to participate and speak about his bill to provide more money for research and treatment options. Senate Bill 74 would create a tax credit program for qualifying donations to a Pennsylvania pediatric cancer research hospital.
