Senate Bill 1296 (Argall) – Amends the County Code requiring approval of a city of the third class and school district impacted by a county of the fourth class purchasing property within the city.

Senate Bill 1164 (J. Ward) – Amends the County Code requiring notification to the Coroner of a death suspected to be due to contagious diseases related to a pandemic or health disaster emergency and access to death certificate information.

House Bill 885 (Gaydos) – Amends the Public Works Contractors’ Bond Law of 1967 requiring certain financial securities for public contracts in excess of $10,000.

House Bill 908 (Rader) – Amends Act 442 of 1967 (1968) permitting open space tax funds to be used to maintain open space property not acquired under the Act.

House Bill 1408 (Lewis) – Repeals Act 192 of 1959, which permits the continuation of play for baseball games on Sunday after 5:00 p.m. 

House Bill 1582 (Greiner) – Amends the Second Class Township Code providing the option for the abolishment of elected auditor and the appointment of an independent auditor.

House Bill 1647 (Emerick) – Amends the Local Tax Collection Law waiving penalties for failure to receive a tax notice upon the transfer of real property.

House Bill 2044 (Masser) – Repealing Act 120 of 1919, which requires a permit from the Mayor for a public dance or public ball, and annual licenses.

House Bill 2536 (James) – Amends Title 53 temporarily authorizing the issuance of tax anticipation notes under additional terms.

House Bill 1564 (Emerick) – Assessments of mobile homes and manufactured homes and various COVID-19 related provisions.

  • Amendment A06001 extending assessment board training deadlines and appeal deadlines of judicially mandated assessments and removing COVID-19 related provisions previously enacted.
